Gordon E. Sauer

Gordon E. Sauer is a proud native Texan, born and raised in the Fredericksburg area, with deep roots in the Texas Hill Country. His family heritage traces back to the late 1840s, when his great-great-grandfather was among the earliest German immigrants to settle in the Fredericksburg community.
Throughout his life, Gordon has remained dedicated to serving the communities of the Hill Country through active involvement in numerous local organizations, civic initiatives, and community development projects across the areas he serves. His longstanding commitment to public service and community leadership has helped shape both the business and civic landscape of the region.
Gordon earned a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University before pursuing his legal education at St. Mary’s University, where he received his Juris Doctor degree. Following his graduation from law school in 1968, he returned home to Fredericksburg to begin practicing law. In 1970, he founded Hill Country Titles, Inc., establishing what would become a respected and trusted title company serving the Texas Hill Country and throughout the state of Texas for decades.
