Gordon E. Sauer is a native Texan – born and raised in the Fredericksburg area. His great, great grandfather was one of the first German families to immigrate from Germany and settle in the Fredericksburg area in the late 1840’s.
Gordon has been actively involved with many local area organizations and community projects in all communities we serve.
Gordon holds a degree in animal science from Texas A&M University and a Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University. After graduating from law school in 1968, he returned to Fredericksburg where he opened a law practice and started Hill Country Titles, Inc. in 1970.
Gordon is very active in the cattle industry and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Southwest Cattle Raisers Association, an organization of 17,000 members. He is currently serving as Chairman of the Property Rights and Tax Committee.
